Who can register as a Welcome Buddy and how?

We are looking for local doctoral students enrolled at Universität Hamburg who would like to volunteer to help prospective and newly enrolled international doctoral students to get a good start with their research and everyday life in Hamburg.

The Buddy activities can be recognized as a component of the CIC (Certificate Intercultural Competence).

All registered doctoral students ath the MIN Faculty can sign up for the Buddy Program to help prospective and new doctoral students from abroad adjust to their new environment at the beginning of their doctorate.

Doctoral students currently enrolled at MIN faculty who want to welcome a doctoral student from abroad may sign up here.
