MINGZ Doctoral Representatives
Meenakshi Mini Ashok and Julian-Partha Bhowmik serve as doctoral representatives in the board of MIN Graduate Center. They are involved in all activities of the board of MINGZ, such as the admission of new doctoral programs into MINGZ and the development of the MINGZ support program. They are committed towards representing your ideas and input as fellow doctoral researchers at the Hamburg MIN faculty and making your voices heard.

Meenakshi Mini Ashok
My name is Meenakshi Mini Ashok, and I have been a doctoral researcher at DESY since January 2025, working on the post-compression of ultrashort laser pulses using multi-pass cells (MPCs). Having relocated from India, I know firsthand how much a supportive academic environment shapes your journey. As a MIN Doctoral Representative, I am committed to building a stronger sense of community across research groups—through career resources, peer support, and activities that promote a healthy work-life balance. Julian-Partha Bhowmik
And my name is Julian-Partha Bhowmik, I am a second-year doctoral researcher at the Institute of Experimental Cardiovascular Research at UKE. My research focuses on cardioprotective mechanisms of phosphodiesterases in hypertension and heart failure. As a doctoral representative at the MIN Faculty, I am committed to supporting doctoral researchers and fostering a collaborative and supportive doctoral community.
