Science and family
Do you aim for a career in science and have children or family members you need to care for? The Family Office of the Universität Hamburg offers first advice and support on how to reconcile family and scientific work and can refer you to other counselling offices if necessary. Further information related to the compatibility of an academic career and family life can be found on the pages of the Equal Opportunity Unit of Universität Hamburg.
The FIT information service for science provides up-to-date information on funding for research and support for young scientists, the promotion of international scientific activities and the transfer of scientific results into practice. At a frequency of your choice, you will receive a newsletter with information on project funding, scholarships, science prizes, current calls for proposals, and more in your research field.
All employees of Universität Hamburg have free access to the FIT newsletter. Further information and options for registration can be found here.
