Women’s Advancement Fund of Universität Hamburg

Universität Hamburg has established the Women’s Advancement Fund to support projects concerned with structural innovation as well as with the implementation of the University’s goals for the promotion of equal opportunities for women (2002) as agreed upon by the president and equal opportunity commissioners of Universität Hamburg.
In 2017 funding worth €10,000 is available.
This fund is designed to promote projects in the areas of studying, teaching, research, and administration that aim to dismantle gender discrimination. The following projects and activities are eligible for funding:
- Teaching and research projects on women’s issues, gender research, and reconciling academic, work, and family obligations
- events relating to women’s issues, gender, and reconciling academic, work, and family obligations
- projects on implementing gender main streaming in studies and teaching, research, and administration
- projects on reconciling academic, work, and family obligations
