Prof. Chris Meier becomes Zhiqiang visiting professor

Prof. Dr. Chris Meier, deputy scientific director of the Centre for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) in Hamburg and Full-Professor for Organic Chemistry at Universität Hamburg was awarded the Zhiqiang visiting professorship at Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. Characterized by its unrestricted validity this visiting professor position entails a flexible guest residence at Shanghai University. In addition to giving lectures in Shanghai and at other Chinese universities, Shanghai University wishes to receive guidance in the development of a university-established Drug Development Center. Shanghai University currently has 37,800 students and 500 full-time professors and is part of the Chinese government’s 211 Project.
