MIN Faculty Council

Besides acknowledging the dean, the faculty council is also responsible for the following tasks:

1. Enactment, amendment, and rescission of university examination regulations, study regulations, and statutes pursuant to § 40
2. Enactment, amendment and rescission of statutes pursuant to § 37 and of university selection procedures regarding admittance to programs with restricted admission
3. Decisions on the establishment, alteration, and suspension of degree programs within the scope of the University Structure and Development Plan
4. Decisions on organization within the faculty pursuant to § 92 (1) including enactment of the faculty statutes
5.  Decisions on the establishment, alteration, and dissolution of individual self-governing units within teaching and research
6. By derogation from § 85 ( 1 ) Point 7, statements on appointment nominations and the listing of recommendations for awarding of the academic title of "Professor"
7. Appointment of an equal opportunity representative
8. Acceptance of the statement of accounts and control of the dean’s office
9. Statements on all faculty matters
