About the library:

The MIN-Forum Library was established in 2026 through the merger of six specialized libraries from the Departments of Earth System Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science, as well as the library of the Geographical Society in Hamburg.
Additionally, the holdings of the Map Collection of the Institute of Geography were integrated into the library.
Spanning six floors, the library now offers a diverse range of literature and study spaces to support research, teaching, academic study, scholarly work, and continuing education.
Its primary focus lies in providing information resources—along with other information services and related support—to the Departments of Earth System Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

What We Offer:

Our primary goal is to provide optimal access to knowledge and expert information. When using the library, we support users with appropriate and appropriate advice and training.
We offer group and individual workplaces for concentrated work. We provide a pleasant and well-equipped working environment, which also includes a small lounge area and a terrace.
