The virtual mobility program eMobi@Dg²
The virtual mobility program eMobi@Dg²
Through this virtual mobility program, students at the University of Hamburg will once again have the opportunity to attend one or more courses in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese at partner universities abroad from their desks at home. The advantages of studying abroad - e.g. improving language skills, acquiring intercultural competence, becoming familiar with other teaching and learning formats, access to new learning content - can thus be flexibly combined with continuing their studies in Hamburg.
Within the framework of the new virtual mobility programme eMobi@Dg², all students of the University of Hamburg from the third Bachelor's semester onwards (no visiting students) can choose from all online courses of 9 partner universities in France, Brazil, Canada, Colombia and Switzerland whose participation requirements they meet. Students can apply for courses at a maximum of two different host universities.
Most courses start in August and September, so it is necessary to apply in good time. Each faculty decides for itself on the recognition of courses taken virtually. In principle, students can have courses recognised in the elective area or free study component or as extracurricular achievements - all courses can also be recognised. Further information and the application link can be found on the website. The courses currently offered can also be found on the network's website.

Volunteering: DAAD Europa macht Schule
Volunteering: DAAD Europa macht Schule
The DAAD and Europa macht Schule e.V. are looking for volunteers to implement the "Europa macht Schule" (EmS) program throughout Germany. Before their own stay abroad or after their return, the EmS project gives students in Germany the opportunity to network in the location teams, to get involved in international exchange and to bring European diversity to schools in Germany. In this way, they also make an active contribution to democratization at schools and universities.
Further information on the program and registration for students can be found on the Europa-macht-Schule homepage.
